New on KanunSetu: Send Documents Directly During a Consultation
You can now share PDFs, contracts, photos and screenshots inside the consultation chat. Encrypted, allow-listed, and download-protected.
We've shipped a long-requested feature: in-chat document sharing during consultations. Customers and advocates can now attach files directly inside the chat panel ? no more emailing scans before the call.
Supported types include PDFs, Word and Excel documents, common image formats (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC), plain text and CSV files, and ZIP archives. Anything else is rejected at upload ? including renamed executables, which our magic-byte detection catches even if the file extension is changed.
Images preview inline in the chat; documents render as a clickable card with the filename and size. Click to download. Both parties to the booking can open any file shared during their consultation, and you can 'unsend' your own messages from the hover menu ? useful if you posted a draft you didn't intend to share yet.
All files are encrypted at rest using AES-256, and only the customer and advocate on the specific booking can download them. Files are tied to the booking, so they're available later from your booking history ? no need to re-upload for follow-up sessions.
Try it on your next consultation. As always, write to support@kanunsetu.com if you spot anything off.
